Sessions often incorporate typical family routines, in addition to naturalistic activities (e.g., social interaction, play, and communication) and specific skills (e.g., toilet training).

Having the ability to develop friendships and participate in school and community activities are of significant importance in life. Our social skills groups and programs can be instrumental in facilitating your child’s ability to establish friendships, build confidence, and pursue interests.
Our school readiness programs ensure that your child is equipped with the tools needed to be successful in the classroom. This includes skills such as attending, following directions and routines, remaining seated, etc..
Along with becoming a teen comes new challenges and opportunities. During this new and often confusing development phase, we can help guide through personal choices, new interests, emerging need for independence, and job readiness.
Beginning at infancy, communication is an essential part of a child’s development. Our speech/language pathologists target a number of areas including functional communication, receptive/expressive language, auditory processing, speech sound production, fluency, appropriate voicing, pragmatic/social skills, feeding, and swallowing.
Occupational therapists play an important role in our communities as they work to help children engage in the meaningful activities of daily life (ADLs). Areas of focus include fine motor (e.g., writing, buttoning, holding utensils, cutting, etc.), sensory motor (e.g., vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch, vestibular, and proprioception), and visual motor skills (i.e., eye-hand coordination).
